Revlon for the Marchesa Runway Show NYFW’15

Backstage at the Marchesa A/W ’15 Runway Show during New York Fashion Week, Revlon Global Artist Director, Gucci Westman spoke about the look she created on the models for the show.

Westman said she created a modern take on Hollywood Glam and took inspiration from the New York, Great Gatsby Era but adapting it to a more youthful appearance and making it look like the models had been dancing all night. The focus of the look was the Black Cherry lip.

For the nails, Celebrity Manicurist, Jin Soon wanted to highlight the focus of the face. Nails were simple yet bold to associate with the Modern Glam look. They were filed into a natural oval shape and painted in a deep blood red colour (Revlon enamel in Vixen) which tied in with the Black cherry lips perfectly.
